Mushahid urges Gilani to play due role

General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) Mushahid Hussain Syed said here Wednesday that the Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is responsible to steer the country out of prevailing political crises and should play his due role in this regard.

“Gilani should play his role if he is really against the imposition of governor rule in Punjab,” he said while talking to newsmen here after a party meeting.

Condemning the massive detentions of political activists and lawyers before planned-Long March, Mushahid demanded the government of lifting the governor rule in Punjab immediately. "The party having majority in the assembly should be allowed to form its government in the province,"
